After a short search I could not find the article so I can’t link it but the gist of it was that large numbers of people are moving to South Dakota. I can understand that. I have joked about moving there and I am a California refugee living in Texas. My reason was that I appreciated the way in which the SD governor, Kristi Noem, refused to panic and lock the state down as a result of the manipulation of the China virus. She seems to understand liberty even better than Greg Abbott, governor of Texas.
This presents the usual problem that the red states face. People living in blue states often have blue politics: Mindless belief in the Progressive* agenda. They can see the results of the way they vote but they don’t have the brain power to connect the dots on why their hometown has turned into a septic tank. They never learned the real scientific method or the concept of cause and effect. So when they move they bring their toxic votes with them.
I have read that the ones moving into Texas are 2 to 1 conservative. I am told that it was the refugees that reelected Ted Cruz in his last run. I am told that the final balance is more red. I am not sure I believe it. I would suggest that we put people moving to Texas through the same type of vetting that the National Guard is getting in Washington, D.C. Infiltrators can be dangerous.
I would suggest it but not vote for it because it is a policy of the left. Once again people who believe in liberty have this Achilles’ heel that can bring us down.

Sad but true; we are destroyed by our own decency. The foreign communists understand that and use it against us. The ignorant domestic communists simply know what works.
