The Daily Wire Tells us that OWH Biden has signed an executive order demanding that Americans wear masks while traveling. I have a criticism of the Daily wire and an observation for the OWH.
First, Dear Daily Wire, stop using click bait headlines. All you have to do is read the first line of the article and you find that it is a bunch of smoke, minus the mirrors. Notice the end of that sentence,
“...interstate travelers must wear face masks when using specific modes of transportation, such as airplanes or trains.”As you continue to read you find that the author of the piece was aware of his nonsense title. Travelers are already required, by the airlines, to wear masks on airplanes. I am not sure about trains. To give the Daily Wire credit, they got me. I clicked because I have driven to the east coast twice since Halloween and might have to go a few more times in the coming year. And I hate masks.
And for OWH Biden, what is your point? If he had come out of his basement during the campaign he might have noticed that the goal of his glorious executive order was already being done. Why is he wasting our time and his time. I guess it is better having him write meaningless memos that actually getting something done. Maybe he should write an executive order requiring that all faucets have the same sized threads or that sliced bread actually be sliced.
And of course the article asks how he is going to enforce it. As I traveled across the country I was struck by the diversity of mask paranoia. Some states had signs on doors and people actually obeyed. Some states had the signs and people ignored them. Others didn’t even bother to put up the signs. I guess one of the projects of the federal government to find jobs for all their voters is to make them Mask Police. Of course they might only be safe inside the Blue City States located around the country.
