Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

Welcome to Varied Expressions of Worship

This blog will be written from an orthodox Christian point of view. There may be some topic that is out of bounds, but at present I don't know what it will be. Politics is a part of life. Theology and philosophy are disciplines that we all participate in even if we don't think so. The Bible has a lot to say about economics. How about self defense? Is war ethical? Think of all the things that someone tells you we should not touch and let's give it a try. Everything that is a part of life should be an expression of worship.

Keep it courteous and be kind to those less blessed than you, but by all means don't worry about agreeing. We learn more when we get backed into a corner.

Opus 2022-245: Headlines: Power Playing

The Gateway Pundit had a story about people who could not afford to pay their electric bills.  I did not bother reading it.

I find myself saying, “So?”  Look at the possibilities.  First, with Biden’s policies the electricity might not be cut off, just not available.  You can’t buy what ain’t for sale.  Green energy exists but does not deliver on the dreams of the Communists pushing it.

Of course there will be a bail-out for those who toe the line.  It is a part of the modern march to totalitarianism.  In times past they might hold a gun to your head or throw you in prison.  Now they threaten your air conditioning and big screen TV.  Now that is Progressive for you.

It is coming.  They have shut down the coal industry, refuse to build nuclear and are working hard to take away the gasoline engine.  Of course, in the hallowed tradition of elites down through history, they will always be able to find enough energy to keep their Jacuzzis and security fences working.

Learn how to make candles and sharpen your wood chopping skills.

Comments are welcome. Feel free to agree or disagree but keep it clean, courteous and short. I heard some shorthand on a podcast: TLDR, Too long, didn't read.
