Opus 2022-290: Put It on Account

The day will come when it is time to pay the piper, or at least I hope so.  The public and closet elites that have been working toward a totalitarian America just keep pushing.  They will not be happy until they duplicate the Stalinist police state with everyone below them living in poverty and fear.  They have been pushing.  They are pushing.  They will continue to push.  Eventually they will come for you and me unless we as a people stand up and make a change.  I believe it will happen.  I hope that we as a people are different than the Russian population that went quietly off to the Gulag.  The question is how will it happen and will the cure be only slightly better than the disease or will it solve the problem.

There is a spectrum of payoffs:  Civil war chaos to jury trials.  And there are many steps in between.  The worst case scenario is that all restraint breaks down and violence erupts.  It may come to that, but I hope not.  Civil wars and revolutions rarely bring the kind of society that people really want.  Often it is just a way of getting vengeance on the cabal that has inflicted so much damage on us common citizens.  Most people are aware of the French Revolution and how it led to the Reign of Terror.  That is much more typical historically than the American Revolution.

I am hoping for the rule of law to be reestablished and to see these criminals brought to what the Constitution calls a speedy trial.  I don’t want it so speedy that history will label it “Kangaroo” but the slow poke style of today cannot be tolerated.  If it can be done with due process and without abandoning who we are as a people, I want the guilty to pay for their crimes.  I want the punishment to take into consideration all the days that innocent people have sat in jail cells, for all the emotional damage to the accused and their children of false arrests, for the loss of income and property and a sense of well being.  The price for that should be very high and no appeals to our emotions should be involved.

I want to be on the jury when the currently unknown communist comes up for trial.  I think I can separate facts from a frame up.  I remember the times I have been called for jury duty.  I rarely made the cut because most cases were drunk drivers and I don’t drink.  That made me anathema to the defense lawyers.  That should not be allowed as a reason for dismissal.  Just because I don’t drink does not mean that I can’t tell the difference between being legally drunk and below the limit.  The same goes for abuse of power by the elites.

We need to understand the difference between vengeance and justice.

We need to be able to purge our land under the rule of law.

That means that we allow due process, have fair trials under the law and if the accused stands guilty, apply the justice demanded by that law.  We need to make sure that we don’t follow the Stalinist pattern of the J6 committee.  Keep in mind that the Constitution allows the death penalty for treason.  That means that the death penalty does not come under the rejection of cruel and unusual punishment.  If we have the duty of peer jurors we need to be ready and willing to apply that consequence.

The elites are generally spineless bullies.  Bullies always pick weak targets and then scream when they get caught.  The only way to deal with this is to make the punishment fit the crime and follow through.  After the trial we can get the Queen of Hearts to tell us what to do.
